Construction has started on the entry road, community roads and utilities. Construction is expected to be completed by the beginning of 2027. Once construction has been completed and the Final Plat issued by Baldwin County, reserved Lots may be sold and deeded to purchasers.

Yes, we are currently accepting reservations for Lots. A reservation requires an upfront deposit that is refundable until an estimated 60 days from completion of construction. At that time, the purchaser must provide an additional deposit that will go towards the purchase price that becomes non-refundable. Once construction is completed, the closing will take place within 30 days. Home construction may begin at that time.

Yes. Home construction must begin within twenty-four (24) months of purchasing your lot. If you choose to sell your lot before beginning construction, the Developer has a Right of First Refusal to purchase the lot on the same terms as any bona fide offer.

Yes. Long Bayou Preserve has architectural and construction guidelines designed to maintain the quality, character, and aesthetic integrity of the community. All home plans and exterior improvements are subject to review and approval to ensure compliance with these standards.

Yes. Owners may select their own builder and architect, subject to compliance with the community's architectural guidelines and approval requirements. For those who prefer assistance with the design process, the community's project architect, McCown Design, is available as a preferred architect as well.
